humanity stands before a busy street. we could stay where we are, or we could go elsewhere. science says, "hey, lets cross the road" "its a busy intersection," i say, "be sure you look both ways." "ok," says the scientist. he looks up, he looks down. "all clear!" "um...you didn't look" i say "yeah i did." says scientist i suggest another look, perhaps scientist looked in the wrong place for the wrong thing? oh, how dare i suggest that. "what do you know, punk?" asks the scientist. "come on people, lets cross the street. i looked at the galaxy and the microcosm when that fool said look both ways. hah! what a load of rubbish." the people have faith in the scientist, but they didn't look for oncoming traffic and 99% of them are scattered to oblivion by an impact with a neutral vehicle that bombards them.
