Tourist When I was young I had this rock, odd shaped, mostly flat with a small buldge on the top. Looking downward it had a point of about 40 Degrees on the left and on the right a notch of about the same angle, only off set slightly. The rock was made up of thin layers of creamy white and bluish grey, which were displayed like rings around the rust red buldge on top. Giving me the impression of the great red spot on Jupiter. I`d play with that rock ! It was a car, a space ship, an alien world! I had found it in Braintree Mass. And carried it to Jacksonville Fla. I had it for years, but no more. Like so many things it was lost along the way. I miss that rock. I really do. 120720

unhinged some truths are still too hard to speak; here we go again

some things stay lost, some things are never found

sadly, part of me is relieved that all I have now is your_voice

Tourist The things we form attachments to are as varied as the individuals involved. It's been about 40 years since I held that stone in my hand, I can still remember its topography. I hope that your memory of the voice now absent brings comfort and reverie rather than regret or remorse. Life's a long song, But the tune ends too soon for us all. 120720
