Some people wouldn't touch alcohol because they are told it is against their religion, or state law, so they go along with it without questioning why.
The reason why is because some people don't know where to stop with it, they have no self-control, so therefore it is better to control the masses rather than help people find self-control. To me that is pretty limiting when humans should be in control of what they put into their bodies, as your body is your temple.
I like the taste of a glass of wine, not the effect and yes i can control it. Yet still i get judged by people when i know what i am doing, i know my body and how to treat it; go on judge me again.
The biggest problrm with alcohol or drugs is that people use it as an escape from a life that is full of struggle, stress, depression and anger. They let it control them, so they can forget for a short while their problems. It is understandable in a world that has become such a difficult place to be at peace.
