i took the long way home wet with the cool spring rain. melancholy music dripped into my ears and flooded me so that I felt whole with melody and harmony as my wings. I drifted and flowed and floated in the pools of serenity all the way to my doorstep into things feared and painfully familiar. but i soaked up the mood and the placid chill of a tired days rain so that I could live through one more day in all this scattered noise. |
