Why not? Why cant prophecy be freedom. I see prophecy as a fortelling of where freedom will lead for a particular event. Not ment to control. Does a prophecy that is never told control?

wow! someone seems a little argumentative. I don't even know why i wrote that now. i think i was watching the Matrix (i really like that movie, its deep). anyways, i agree with you but i also believe that a prophecy doesn't have to come true in this reality in order for it to be fulfiled. Free Choice becomes the problem. For instance what if the Anti-Christ decided he would rather become a fashion designer instead of world domination.
I agree homie, though and it was not meant to be an absolute statement just a personal one.

About the antichrist. If the bible's portrayal of the antichrist is true (or for arguments sake, the second coming of christ)...but anyways, if the anticrhist choses to become a fashion designer, then he probably wasnt the antichrist in the first place. If he was supposed to be the antichrist...then and he chose a different path then the Bible would be lying.

I beg not to differ. What does that mean ayways? Why beg to differ. But anyways, homie, I don't think the bible would be lying. it all depends on what you think lying is. Lying is statement against what you know or believe to be true. If i was to say that i am a drunken sailor knowing that i was an architect, that would be a lie.
But okay. i catch your drift. Truth is a funny thing.

Wow! People spend a lot of time making things definite and saying that it must happen even though it has not happened yet and saying that it is fact (even though a fact is a statement of what is and what has happened) and the thing has not happened. And anybody who does not believe it that way is either nuts, crazy, or evil.
We spend a lot of time trying to control everything and we can't even control ourselves. i find this interesting. I find it interesting that if i don't believe a thing that means i am automatically being controlled by evil or insanity and i would not be able to say that it is actually from God because a person's view of God differs from mine.
