and so i'll go out tonight... if only to reconfirm the fact that i am totally undesirable to you, merely some kind of misfit brought along for some amusement, if the situation presents itself. curiosity drives me, a sickening fascination, not unlike having to slow down to see an accident on the road... but i will be made to remember (by the end of the night, if not sooner) that curiosity kills the cat. and i have been a bad kitty.

oh, but i've forgotten the rules, lost the count, fudged the deal. i don't know if i knew how to play in the first place. at any rate, i was never good at it.
perhaps i can just be me, and remember not to worry what you and everyone else might think of me. i will laugh out loud, splash in the puddles, and sing along to my CDs... and i won't care if anyone thinks i'm strange.
