Icarus probably did feel he could fly there forever, until his wings melted about him, and air ceased to be his company. but, we feel that joy, until we too come to close to the sun, and if we survive the fall, we curse, and swear that next time, we'll make our wings of sterner stuff. Surviving the fall is the most jittery of excitement, me thinks. |
