at the best of times, he's not really listening; only waiting until someone finishes speaking so he can talk. "i thought we were talking about this? [talks about this now]." at the worst of times, he doesn't listen at all and just talks about his world and what interests him. i really can't fucking stand to be around him anymore, which is unfortunate, since we're forced to spend about 10 hours a day together. |

doing diads in meditation class 'the listener in these activities really should not respond at all, no affirmative noises or head nods...just listen to what the other person is saying without formulating any kind of response' it just seems so...counterintuitive to not even nod at someone when they are talking to you. |
