Okay.
Here's how it works...
You rent some movies.
In the first movie, you notice one of the bit players is pretty good. You may even mention it to your wife. Together you wonder why that actor hasn't been in more movies.
You finish with the first movie, then stick in another one.
Lo_and_behold, guess who's in the second, completely unrelated movie?
You turn to your wife and she's looking back at you with the same expression.
During the course of the second movie, you see another good bit player. This time neither of you says anything.
A few days later...
You rent some more movies.
You stick the first one in, and guess who's in it! Yep, that bit player from the second movie you rented the other day.
It's at this point that you start to notice other connections as well...
"Hey, wasn't there a guy named Kyle in that movie we just saw?"
"Didn't they also make a reference to Jeopardy?"
Pay attention from movie to movie. You'll either enjoy the connectedness, or you'll become paranoid.
