So I'm posting messages through a Facebook work account on student chat groups, advertising a tutoring centre.
Student: posts meme saying he wishes all the tutoring company plants would get out of the group.
Me: (fair enough, I don't like this job, and I don't like to be annoying, even under a fake name)
Me: (but what's if I can be funny)
Me: posts "Not a plant, an animal. I'll have to advertise for biology tutoring next :)"
...And the student actually felt bad for calling "me" out. Like, why?? The centre had a silly advertising idea and I had an even sillier pun.
And maybe I am a plant: rooted to one place, working from home.
