the interior of a parked van in the parking lot of a secret air base situated in an undisclosed location somewhere close to Nomme's town.
looking inside you can see tie-dyed faux fur seat covers and an open bag of sunflower seeds lying on the dashboard. on closer inspection, the seeds smell terribly rancid and you notice there is a folded piece of paper beside the bag of seeds. it looks to be a letter.
upon unfolding it reads:
"august 07, 1969
dear tim and judith,
"Hello, bet you never thought you would be hearing from us again"....."after being on the road for seven months, Crystal and i have finally found a place we can truly call home. Canada is a lot sunnier than we thought it would be! They even have"...."Crystal says I look really cute right now with my sunburned"......
"we have built a log cabin in the countryside near"....."and that is how we managed to get"......"it's a long story actually, started when"..."we have noticed some funny things going on in the woods by"..."we think they could be alien beings"
the words trail off leaving neither a signature nor an address.
you look around some more and find a sealed bag of shrooms inside the glove compartment. inside the bag there is a note inscribed "eat me".
