falling_alone it didn't feel expensive growing fatter.
things were replaced gradually when it was noticed they reached maximum stretching capacity. once it was noticed that a button would close no more or a shirt was not deemed to wear out in public it was given away. why bother to keep such things when i never truly believed i would fit them once again. now it seems as though every thing should be replaced in one great spree...

j funny as it was, coming home after losign about 30 pounds, and being amazed at my losing_weight. and now, searching for bigger clothes again.
"i gained weight," i said.
"why dont you try exercising?"
"i ride my bike 3 miles every day. besides, what i really want to do is go swimming, and you won't ever go with me."
roll of the eyes, subject dropped. but him suggesting exercise instead of saying the proverbial, "no you didn't, you look fine" was his way of telling me he noticed.
