apricot clif bar wrappers, mahayana's teabags tied up with hemp rope, sabbie's little toy clown and feathers she sent me, and little treasure tins, as well as several grams of robin hill sticks, dirt clods, pebbles, and bits of straw, are in my truck right now.

2. i love it when i meet someone new and we are so much alike that it scares me, but in a good way. we talk and i get that spine-tingling sensation that the words she says are something i've read in a zadie smith novel, or heard in a beck song, or remembered from a recent film we saw. and the hours pass like sand through our fingers. and when i think back about it all her grace was in her vagueness, there was nothing solid i could center on. it was everything i loved. her features were blurred and dreamy, her shy milk-white way tranquil and even poetic. she enters my dream and the dream becomes lucid. and when i wake she is beside me. hair across the pillow like a stream i remember where red leaves moved lazily, almost impeceptible.

3. when it rains i will usually be happy because we are so dependant at robin hill for rain. irrigation systems are expensive to install. rain is so good for everything that grows. vichy says that every raindrop that falls on you adds a second to your life. so, we tend to play a lot in the rain. especially at the holiday grounds for smashball. games in the rain are riotous and the clean-up is especially fun. but rain on a party can suck, especially beth's graduation party, when all of her paintings and pencil drawings were hung on the horse fence, and we rushed about like mad trying to rescue them.

4. children come with the message that God is not yet discouraged with us. children are nearly everywhere in my world. i speak to them, ask them questions, get them to draw me pictures. i do puppet shows for them, entertain large crowds of them at our ski school with stories, take turns with dennis and kevin doing clown shows and dressing up in the snowball the leopard costume. i am always amazed how different they are and how they think, how some are so polite, and others are devils in disguise.

5. i hate it when i catch myself wasting time.

6. so much makes me laugh, it would be endless trying to list it. but, british humour will always do it easiest. and dennis's clown shows are absolutely hilarious.

7. i love coffee because it turns my buttons to the on positon.

8. the last concert i went to was temple_of_low_men, an absolutely incredible local band, all the guys in it are kewl as hell, the lead singer is especially awesome and has a powerful and soulful voice that gives me chills, and their music gives me peace and hope when i'm lost inside myself.
