neochallenger Take a five dollar bill of your own possession. Write your name on it. Give it to a random stranger explaining why and allowing them the option of spending it or passing it on, but asking that they write their name on it as well, regardless of their choice. 040123

u24 £5! you gotta be kidding! when do I have that kind of money? *grin*

A few weeks ago, I wrote some phrases on some loose change and let it go. some of the phrases were silly, like "Hi, I'm a coin, pick me up!", and others were.. weird, like "Are you happy?", and "Is this what life is?"

does that count, or am I going to have to loose a fiver?

neochallenger What do you think? 040124
...
u24 well, as I did it before the neochallenge was issued, I'd say no, but as it possibly approximates the intention of this neochallenge, I'd say yes.

how's that for inconclusive?

:)

neochallenger What did the neochallenge say? Did you follow it explicitly? I love you, but I'm not budging on this one. Shell out. 040125

Strideo hey! no fair! at the current exchange rate £5 is almost 10 american dollars! If you went by the exchange rate you could dish out about £2.7 but you couldn't write on it huh?

Now if you're canadian a fiver is about $3.8 american. hmmm.

Strideo and i suppose £2.7 isn't a five spot. if you did get an american five dollar bill it should count for the challenge but then who ever you give it to would really think you were strange.

sorry for typing all over your neochallenge neochallenger.

u24 actually, I do have an american dollar somewhere at home. maybe I could go to the coin shop and buy a $5 note.. except that it's closed down now. looks like I really am going to have to shell out..

UNLESS!

I wrap £2.70 in change in a envelope!
ha! a-Ha! HA!

(help me, I'm getting weirder every day!)

neochallenger No exchange rates. 040127

jane thats really not fair 040127

u24 true, but it's not a big problem. it may have to wait until mid feb. (to ensure I've been paid)

that makes me sound really poor, doesn't it. Well, truthfully, I usually can spare £5, but not for a week or so.

u24 but may I ask what the point of this challenge is? 040128

Nukemall 5 dollars of your local currency should suffice.

oh, and done by the way.

and you would not believe if I told you about the exchange. took me 5 people to finally get rid of it.

*sigh*

the lengths I go to in order to fulfill your challenges.

Strideo weird, the other day at work some one paid me with 5 five dollar bills. each one had a different person's name on it in different hand writing for each.

the only one I really remember was the one that had "Chad elect" writen on it.
