r.dafremen I, the person you know as Roger Dafremen, have done my very best to divest myself of all physical assets. I did this, not to hide assets, but because I simply need nothing more than my own abilities and the love that those around me are willing to provide.

Eventually labor and skill will trump cash and property. I decided to embrace it as a lifestyle. I do this of my own free will and as a result, have nothing to bequeath to anyone except perhaps any copyrights on my writing/songs. Those all go to Lisa, known as Lialei who I have been with since 2008. Without you Lia, I couldn't have produced most of what I was lucky enough to have written from 2008 onward. Any copy rights I have are yours as little as that may amount to.

I have no other physical assets, but there are two promises I would like honored, please: give my son the truck if he's interested. He can crush it or restore it as he pleases. He's earned either.

Finally, to those of you who knew and understood me:

Please dig a hole as deep as your spirits will let you without resenting the memory of doing it and place my body in that hole.

Prepare my body by wrapping an American flag around it, both as a symbol of my love for this country and all it stands for..and as a finger in the face of those who claim the country must be honored before the people who die honoring its ideals.

Then bury me there, in a meadow somewhere..unpleasant as the task may seem (and as illegal as it may be); a tribute to all such tasks undertaken for our sake and for the sake of freedom.

In the end, put the last shovelfuls of dirt over an apple, to one day find me there.

This is my wish, typed by my hand..and (hopefully and eventually) hereafter witnessed by two here whom I trust: Doar and unhinged..along with Lia who is sitting here beside me as I read this to her.

Thank you,

---
