All I know for sure is that something is there. I don't know what it is or what it means. It was there the first time we met, years ago, and it was there the second time, weeks ago. It feels important. I don't know what it signifies for the future. Is it just chemical? Or is it more mysterious than that implies? It makes me imagine possibilities that are so real I can taste them. It is this feeling, this unknowing, hopeful feeling, that keeps us alive. |
