I got a very interesting phone call, a girl had recently broken up with her boyfriend and wanted to know if I wanted to date her (answer: definitely). She said her last boyfriend described himself as a "joiner": someone who is at home in hierarchical organizations, someone who stays loyal, true blue.
After talking about a few of the jobs I've had lately (cook, teacher, landscaper, and next will either be baker or carpenter) I was forced to describe myself as a "non-joiner", or someone who is aimless. Most folks are envious of my wanderings, though.
