[by seeing just how hard they are] you know what i figured out? that people are really confusing. theyre all tangly and kind of like little storm balls of steel wool kind of soft and kind of hard people are kind of hard nothing is simple noone is simple everyone has layers and layers and layers like a cabbage i once was handed a cabbage and told to peel its outside layers and i got confused, and thought it was a cauliflower, and peeled a leaf off and another leaf and antoehr leaf, waiting to get to the flower bit so i kept peeling and kept peeling and kept peeling till my kitchen buddy swooped in and rescued the much reduced cabbage from a confused sab's hands. and sometimes i find stuff is like that moment and im almost in tears because i jsut dont understand where the cauliflower has gone. |
