musica_ficta that damn hassler piece we sang my senior year in choir that he made us learn on our own; i was so ingrained in tonality then that i couldn't quite understand it. and you know what; i always get lydian and mixolydian confused. but it's the lydian with that raised fourth that makes me scrunch up my face in confusement. |
