andru235 and what would that get you?

(aesop was 2500 years ahead of the 21st century, one is inclined to suspect)

besides,
i have already demoralized myself more than anyone else ever could, and built myself up again as well as anyone but a few certain someones can. then i've demoralized myself and built myself up again and again. sometimes it is an hourly cycle, sometimes the cycle lasts through many revolutions.

"you're a stupid idiot andru235"

that's nice. i suppose i am.

"you're a foolish madman"

i guess so.

"accept that there is no meaning to anything!!!"

that would require accepting meaning in the meaning of meaninglessness. haven't you studied your paradoxes? and i must state that i am far-more-advanced at self-demoralization than to be affected by cliche insults and slanderous shibboleths.

ultimately one can only concede that there is, in fact, meaning to be found, but it will be different from entity to entity. too many of the nihilists i've known are people of intelligence whose metaphysical thinking has been betrayed by religious zealotry aimed at mono-think-isizing their metaphysical mind. so they kill it, to keep control over it. its the seppuku of spirituality and it is disgusting, but more disgusting is the culture of mono-think that pushes people into metaphysical-thought-seppuku.

they take others down to build themselves up. religiously insecure people do it, nihilists do it, everyone has done it in some form regarding some aspect of life, but with spirituality, our western cultures practically regard this as a good thing.

yikes!
