I spent hours today composing a sentence in my head. Trying to find a better word than "kryptonite". Trying to figure out what was going on. Knowing I can't figure it out alone, but also knowing that asking for help would in itself possibly be a problem. I had no idea what to do. I probably messed it up. But honesty and openness have always been my way, so I decided to ask. But damn it, I didn't want to have to. And I'm sorry. I'm not sure what's worse - someone deliberately using my kryptonite against me, or the fact that, after all this time, I find out that kryptonite still works on me. |
