MUNCHKINS, emerald cities, vivacious sunflowers, and killer tomatoes.. it's a world of it's own. =) One thing that always gets me about Kansas is the spring thundershowers. The most magnificent thunderheads will build up on the horizon of a the most innocent seeming of days.. sun beams piercing through to spotlight ripples forming on the waves of long grass as the wind starts picking up and your ears buzz from the static forces building.. ~smell~ of precipitation and sweet grass tickle, chases hair strands, sun winks now from eager lighter clouds, racing ahead of the dark cool shadow of rain, falling silently, deceptively looming far far into the distance.. cold quiet submarine blue bottom, up to marine, ultramarine, baby stark eyed perfection of a round, roiling mass.. highlighted every so often with eels electrical ..feeling ..oh.. so randy! Refreshing to close your eyes and soak in the anticipation, soak in the sun, the Energy!.. indulge in the Thought of being drenched.. what is pleasure without the smudge of excitement? the thrill of being caught in the moment? pores open.. senses tingle, wind picks up.. beauty on a grand scale... is what we have here.. the skies stretch on fooorrreeeevvveeerrrr! all day, everyday.. great fertile grounds for dreams..
