blather is a silly website where people chat and be annonymous.. some people bleed their hearts here.. some people talk about good ideas ... some people.. state an opinion and some people have fun.
i don't know who designed it but i think it is quite cool.

I love that blather does not have a defined purpose - it just is, and people can do what they like with it. You can use it how you like, when you like. You can experiment with it. You can ignore it.
I love the patterns that people form around it, the social hierarchies, the politics, the poetry. The way it flows one way then another, many ways at the same time. Friendships and lives come and go, in, through and around it.
I love that blather responds. It is not just a big blackboard that we are writing on - we are creating it as we write, every word changes blather, and blather makes something new of every word.
I guess one could suggest that purposelessness is itself a purpose. And obviously it is not a completely free reign, there are limitations and tendencies and biases.
But it certainly is cool.
Enough gushing for me today.

i hate it when boys say this. it's such a crock of shit and an easy way out.

but i am very well aware of my untrophyness i.e. that i am not hot at least in a conventional way. i am also very well aware of most males' desire for a modelesque girl to parade around on their arm in front of all their friends. at least most of the males around here.
so i often fall victim to the role of the girl that he is 'just_hanging_out' with, even if we are fucking. him and his ego wouldn't want to admit to doing anything else with an only mildly attractive but extremely talented girl that bruises his ego by being better at something than him. just_hanging_out with me waiting for the next better thing to come along.
