Luna baby, name inspired by the boy and the moon that night We discussed names on the way home from seeing the too-little kitty, knowing she'd come home in a week or two The boy looked up and saw the moon that night: Inky blackness of the sky with the silver glow of the full moon, a silvery grey cloud passing before it. It looked like the moon in a movie, one with werewolves about to change, and he said we should call her moonlight. Luna was decided upon the next day, with some officiality. And now, she is my itty bitty pretty kitty. Tiny thing, but gorgeous. |
