sitting here ten minutes to 5 AM the drone of the early morning traffic, remembering a place i used to work where i had to get up at this hour to be ready somewhere in the distance, rhythmic clanking noise once upon a time i kept different hours, vampire's hours, we used to joke now only for the fact that i'm sick today that i find myself awake in these inbetween hours, listening to the sounds of the world around me shuffling to life the first blue-grey light of dawn has yet to show |
