i was trapped
with people i did not know
but knew
i was trapped in a field
a familiar field
with a familiar forest
surrounding me for acres
upon acres
but i could not enter it
i called out for someone to come with me
but in the field they stayed
my eyes grew heavy
and i woke to her kiss
though i didnt know who she was
and her hand
was placed rather uncomfortably
in a threatening manner
to highlight the pleasure
of her sweet lips
"you're going to have to give it back"
she said
as she gave me a chance to breath
before joining our lips
and pushing her tongue
into my mouth again
i was awash with emotions
not knowing what she was talking about
until her hand's pressure
made it too clear
and she got it back
what it was,
i still dont understand
i stood trapped
in that field
and she sat beside me,
i wanted to enter the forest
but instead reached to touch her
and she looked at me
and left
i dreamed of the forest
of all the hidden places
of my sacred spots
and kyla came to me
i held her,
gently kissed the back of her neck
and told her
what i saw
she wanted to come
but couldnt
as it had become
to dangerous
we ran,
seeking a car
an escape
from this dangerous plan
to leave the dream forest behind
but we could find no vehicle
and stood in fear
as the attack began
until
the dream swept us away
and we were free
beside a pool
in the middle
of my dream forest,
just she and i,
and the life
of the wood.
