I was wondering all day what unknown memory those words resonated with. I had heard that said before and in the same tone that I had used this morning when I found Mom asleep in bed, with her breakfast now cold on a table at the side, I knew this nursing home try was a failure. I got her out of bed, and as I was cleaning her up in the bathroom a woman came in and said she was Mom's nurse. This was Mom's third day at the nursing home and this was the first time I saw her. I was pissed and I yelled "I'm pulling her outta here!", and now I remember where I had heard that before. It was Alien(2?), the space marines were getting slaughtered by the Aliens and the commander yelled "I'm pulling them out of there!" |
