imagine that, in the wide expanse of situations and the twisted ordeals that took place, she has conquered through, plowed through days after days and can not only say that she has survived the first 16 years of chipped mugs, painted cupboards, and lonesome hallways, but has stood in the headlights of a car and chosen to run, rather than be crushed on impact. now that is something to celebrate. and as the months grow and one can see her bloom into the girl she once was, she'll continue to say, "hi my name is ellyn and i lived to be 16" because she considers it quite the accomplishment.
