is a double-edged sword of sorts. On one hand, i *finally* know people from all walks of life that i have stuff in common with and whose lives i'm genuinely interested in (unlike most of the so-called friends i grew up with that i have little in common with and couldn't really relate to). The only problem is that most of the friends i have live so far away and i know that it is highly unlikely i'll meet any of them, and sometimes the reality of that just hits me hard. |
