Having a lot to say Perhaps it’s time to let the pigeons out of the bathroom. I’ve got a full crate of eggs to unload, some are speckled and some are brown but most are white. And who could really give a squeak. If you look at something, like a shower curtain, for a long period of time, you will either be wasting your time or you’ll see a pattern or texture or symbol that you never noticed. This may change your life for awhile. Or you could be wasting your time. It’s a big deal to have your poem look just like a rectangle. But can you really deny something it’s form especially when it’s tugging at you to change it? But let’s get back to brass tacks or whatever that expression is. Who got back to brass tacks in the first place? Let’s get back on the classic rock trolley as a dj friend would put it; it means to play an old ass song. It could also mean to hop back in gear in a vehicle without tires which makes me wonder if those brass tacks had anything to do with popping tires and throwing off a need to find rhythm. no way? yes, clean and fidgeting people, in no way should that have any relevance to what I’m trying to express. Perhaps it’s not time to let the pigeons out of the bathroom. Perhaps now is not the time for anything to happen. Perhaps right now, I’m supposed to be twiddling with the way a poem looks. I don’t think any of this will make much difference. The shower curtain has more to say than I do.
