twisted , bent, turned signs...fences...170 mile an hour winds.... Fuck you katrina!
5 weeks of not knowing...are they alive?
5 weeks, of one big nightmare.
Hope you like sleep overs.
ice boxes sit on the side walks huddled together.... 5 weeks of rotten food...awaiting there grave yard... maybe a parking lot..or what would have been a neighborhood/playground.
Trees ripped from the earth with thier roots exposed....
now it has been 11 weeks and man made machines can not remove these empty vessels of life...
trees, people, those missing....dead even.... the streets never to be the same... a huge broken family.
flat tires and a city that was once 24/7 now forced to close at 4 pm.....
liars , hyocrites and theives.... OUR GREAT GOVERNMENT.......ladies and gents...what about the dozens of babies dying in touro hospital? no word since the report that thier power and life support went out.
I still love this TOWN. hate those incharge...what if it was their children?
Nearly 1,000 of the 6,644 unaccounted-for people are children. Ernie Allen, president of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, says volunteers continue to go door to door to try (try!) to close missing-person cases.
He believes that "a small number" of the missing children eventually will be listed as dead. Most of the unaccounted-for children, he says, probably were reunited with relatives after the children were reported missing during evacuations in New Orleans and Mississippi.
oh.... just 1'000....and those are the ones someone cared to report....
marshall law.... maybe most of the missing are sitting in that same graveyard of iceboxes?
