dafremen I'd like to thank all of my conservative friends out there for finally showing up to put the brakes on this 100 year train ride into hell.

That is why you're called conservatives and they are called progressives. Brake pedal, accelerator..and HOPEFULLY a right hand AND a left hand on the steering wheel.

But before anyone gets too much swagger in their step, let's not forget something: you folks didn't get up out of your comfy chair or leave your deer blinds behind because your country was in danger.

You did it because your livelihoods were in danger. The ENTIRE time that people were warning you what was happening to your country, the response from conservatives was always the same. Either "Love it or leave it!" or "so go do something about it."

It wasn't until they shut down your businesses and put you out of a paycheck that you started marching on state capitols. I nearly cried a tear of joy that day, it was so moving to see you folks finally get up off of your asses to tell politicians you were fed up.

But it wasn't because of your country. It was because of your MONEY. It was because YOUR clans were starting to feel the squeeze and they weren't supposed to, because they did the "right" thing.

But the right thing wasn't to turn a blind eye to the rising corruption and poverty in your country. It wasn't to join in on the gravy train made of fake MONEY so your country could go into the dumper. The right thing wasn't fawning over and serving men with millions, who under-priced our small businesses in the market by selling imported goods and outsourcing jobs. And it wasn't cheering for the stagnation of our minimum wage just because big money was out-competing you in the market, either. Just because you had BIG MONEY dreams of being a millionaire yourselves, and taking it from your most vulnerable countrymen seemed reasonable at the time.

Meanwhile, telling people to stop talking about politics and religion was a great way to keep the party mellow, but it didn't do much for keeping our country on course, and our moral compass isn't exactly pointing north anymore. (What with modern American religion being on a MONEY high. See also: Joel Osteen)

Then, when the media pulled our strings by killing George Floyd in front of us, everyone jumped at the chance to turn away from the rich and the politicians, to go march in the streets or fight the lefties gone insane.

And yes, oh my did our lefty brothers and sisters (and whatever pronoun is popular these days) go insane. Quite. Most of us did in our own way. Heck, look at the Trump fever that's hit the country. He's not a hero. He's a spoiled kid who never made it past 20 on his way to 77. He also helped the Federal Reserve last time he was in office by repealing key provisions of the Glass-Steagall Act that Reagan's administration repealed the first time And he told you he'd do it. He lives on credit. Unfortunately, he's the best choice we'll have this time. (see also: Aftermath of the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act link below.)

So my point being, it's nice that we're all finally up and ready to do something about this problem, but bashing lefties and swaggering around about how "conservatives always have to fix everything" isn't solving anything..and it's not exactly accurate. Y'all were (and in some ways are) zombies too.

Just ask the $$MONEY$$..that's being printed by the bankers.

Let's all wake up now (without becoming too woke) and point our ire at the problem: BIG MONEY OUT OF CONTROL.

Thanks if you made it this far.
Love,
daf
