Our parents were conceived in the 1940s and 50s, a time when the entire nation was engaged in making babies and bombs. These Baby Boomers kept us kids scared to death about the bombs they and their parents had made both unimaginably plentiful and unnecessarily destructive. Worse than the paranoia they instilled in us though, was the awful truth whic they kept us oblivious to: that it wasn't the bombs made during the Baby Boomer Era which were going to destroy the human race..but the babies. |
