since we're oh so unmagical, ourselves. i use forms of divination all the time. like, for instance, i will have a boyfriend in 6 months or 6 years, and i will get married in 7. my feeling is this is true. could be a faith, or a way of stalling. still, these are in the category of zappy lightning bolts to the head and i don't shake those easily. on the other hand, it's a bad day and i'm getting bad "Trust-your-Vibes" cards. all the cards, every single one of them, are seen as things to keep in mind most days, good or bad. because human life is complicated, anyway. the Tarot is similar. the Tarot, or How to Buck your Religion. some divinations are Ganesh like, setting up obstacles and knocking them down. were they ever there in the first place? tired of the illusion of control in your life? try divination. the Runes will tell you if you need to book that next trip, the Tarot will bolster all your suspicions about others, the Celtic Oracle will reveal the depths of mankind's true aspirations. my opinion is, that while useful with getting your mind to settle on juicy info, these things mostly serve to weaken us. and i'm not saying that weakening is inappropriate. sometimes it is. but it's just something to keep in mind. i don't think astrology or numerology is divination, but more raw interpretation. so, these are just some thoughts on divination. hope they are not too heavy-handed. it's possible that i'm working with a weak definition of divination, in which case i'll need to go back to the drawing board. vive le Mercury Retrograde....
