oh okay, I had this (!)
for about 3 weeks
last month.
kept feeling like my eye was
twitching and spasming,
fortunately it wasn't visible,
but it was driving me crazy
inside
(isn't that always the way it is)
started to wonder if it was going to be permanent, but it went away. I made a point of removing my contacts at night. don't know if that is what caused it to stop. I think it went away on it's own.
if you are experiencing pain in your neck, could signify something serious, otherwise I wouldn't worry- eye twitching is quite a common phenomenon.
just drives you crazy.

relax and breathe
i had twitchy eyes when i was super stressed during grad_school. i am convinced it is a stress symptom. stress is horrible for you (obviously) and will find any way it can to manifest itself. i also had insomnia and digestive problems to go along with my twitchy eyes. and it all added up to frustration which compounded my stress.
but ever since i started doing yoga regularly, no more twitchy eyes, a drastic reduction in insomnia and my stomach hardly ever hurts. (that might also be a pleasant side effect of my vegetarian habits)
