one chance out between two worlds...
(twin_peaks -- but it's actually "one chants out between two worlds / fire walk with me", which is far scarier. i eventually learned that twin_peaks was way too much for my teenage mind to bear. stupid_david_lynch. aquarius with a lot of scorpio. when he did that inland_empire movie, i finally said that's it. because i went to college in the inland_empire, and he was bound to cross_the_line_of_sanctuary. maybe someday i'll watch it. but right now, uh-uh. he is a thoughtful jerk, though, so for whatever reason i get a little bit of a melty heart about him and his work. but my rational mind says that i should stick with the piss-off to david_lynch, maybe until he makes more family films, or something. anybody seen inland_empire? what's it like? safe or challenging? i only saw some stills with rabbits and was like, fuck this. and then i turned on him. i had been a huge twin_peaks fan, but that was just naivete, i think. )
