they exist side by side...one is the absence of the other; they don't exist separately. and both feel like hell so what's the difference? but i'd rather feel...emptiness is terrible; coping with too much anger or love or whatever is infinitely preferable to coping with a void you can't fill, don't know where it came from and how long it will stay...you just know what it's swallowing up and you're either dragging your heels to make it stay put or watching it slide and think 'there goes another one...' |
