I think about belief, beliefs, believing, believers, etc. a lot.
I'm not a ready believer, though I'm not enthusiastically cynical. My path seems to be one of questioning, trying to see what is, rather than accepting a
"world view". Religous beliefs seem to me to be tailored toward giving us comforting explanations for this very
outrageous existence we live. It would be comforting to have a set of beliefs that would guide me in this life.As it stands now, as I stand now, I try to face the world naked, with neither drugs nor ideology to cushion me from life. Its not easy.
