even problems with her were more interesting - not your too career oriented or we like different tv shows, or oh how the timing is wrong - it was real differences. is this planet a haven or our prey. there simply was no predicting her or him because there just aren't interesting people like that on tv. even, especially reality tv. you never saw the mystic and the government man argue about who drank the last of the milk on those tv shows, because neither of them would be on those tv shows. but they might be the man in the window or the woman walking, eyes downcast. tv had flavors like skittles did: always the same gaping scream of touch me, with exaggerated colors like funny character hats, and a touched up leftover scent of the real world they left behind- pumped up, exaggerated, made flat and consistent (not stronger near the neck or crotch) and uniform. she was off the script like this. their problems were vast, overdetermined, sometimes didn't feel like problems at all so much as places to live uncertain forever.
