it's amazing how close someone can feel when you're talking to them through space. it's easier for me to say things with a clackety soundtrack, when i can think about being witty or serious, when i can construe every element precisely, when i can cherish the words returned without anyone else knowing. i will not, however, nuzzle my router, no matter how much it may represent the gossamer threads that have brought me that one voice when i most craved it. |
