They call me Truth

i was talking about this earlier and i thought i should just blathe about it here in more detail. "Exactly what is our problem with God?" Well let me be more specific and say the Christian God, because of the fact that there are so many. What seems to bug people the most about this God is the whole concept of HELL. Hellatory Hellification Hellifying itself Helliphysically. But why??? What is our problem with Hell??? Can someone answer that question for me???

All you have to do is look at past history and then tell me what is wrong with it. If you are not a good person you will go to hell, well apart from the fact that you might have been or might still be living in it. I don't know about religious texts, all i know is that.. why worry about the future when you live in the present, if you live correctly and conciderately in the moment the future will without doubt look somewhere more like heaven. Its nothing to do with a question, it is 100% realistic. The bible is symbolic, with many stories fiction and nonfiction, they are stories that are examples, the sad thing about it is people seem to either take it literal or misunderstand the purpose of such stories. All you need to do is cut out an article from todays newspaper and compare it with something written over 2000 years ago. What has anyone learned from religion? To me, it doesn't look like people have learnt anything, people may preach and pray but the funny thing is they don't think or question the reason behind the stories or truths of today. I have little knowlegde about any religion however i know what my personal religion is and that is to live here and now without harming anyone, i don't need any religion to tell me how i should or shouldn't treat people because i have something called a heart that i actually listen to.

I think the concept of both hell and heaven exist respectively. I have a problem with both concepts. Eternity. Unchanging. What we have been taught, shown, and forced to believe since birth is that all things die. All things end. And we have grown to expect change. 'All is flux and fire.' How can we live mortally, constantly adapting to change, in reverence to a potential future of immortal, unchanging reward or punishment?

when i die i just want to become dirt. the more you analyse eternal anything, the more far fetched it seems. give me dirt, i say.

so it is the thought of a static unending future...a certain one that never ends in its certainty that frightens/ bothers/ annoys us? who would want to live forever doing the same of anything?
