blather
eighteen_pink_roses
Borealis awash in colour
drifting in on the tide

a kiss
in a thousand variations of one tone
a whisper
tickling your cheek, playfully bouncing your hair
and a slow burning
as dust comes to dust
and ashen petals fall to the earth

to become light
in its purest form
penetrating the dark places
the water
the soil
the air surrounding all

and one trembling petal
will fall
onto the glass of time
disturbing the regular ripples of life and existence as we know it.
one trembling frozen petal
ripping away at the fabric of life
and tearing at the soul, for their beauty.
a deadly beauty

an equally deadly scent
