and if you wait too long and hang back too casually the oppitunites pass you by like cars at night a light, a noise, then silence gone. but then you gotta learn to stand in the dark and appreicate the stars. i need to learn to stand alone i need to not slide bonelessly into a gaping hole i have two spines, i remind myself one here and one at home, sitting in my fireplace and noone can remember where the second one came from so i guess it must be fate. i will learn to stand alone i will learn to keep my own shape i am learning to dance alone. |
