as part of my on-again off-again stormy relationship with astrology, i was finally able to read through the research journal from 2010 about the styles of astrology through the ages. i was on the train, so i had some peace of mind to read. i had meant to read through it then toss it, but it was turning into a better resource for all the names and concepts that i was still more ignorant about than i should be. as i was finishing up the part where the Scientific Revolution sideswiped what could have been a flowering of astrological thought in the 1600s, there was an issue coming over the train conductor's walkie talkie. there was a train stalled in the tracks just ahead of next stop. i guess they caught it. "An automobile wrecked by a train" is the Sabian symbol (a 20th century astrological technique and method of interpreting the zodiac) for Cancer 5 degrees. I don't know what an automobile narrowly avoiding being wrecked by a train would mean. This stuff gets so beyond me (the interpretation for the symbol in the old book I have barely makes sense), but synchronicity is a regular companion when I'm communing with ghosts, the ages, or whatever. Maybe it's just the Book of Job all over again, and everybody actually listened.
