it used to occupy me for hours.
i check slashdot
i check news.google.com, but anything that's interesting, I'll already know about.
i check securityfocus, but they update too infrequently to interest me more than once a fortnight
i check my emails
i check 365tomorrows, and if the story is short enough, i read it
i check del.icio.us/recent and /popular
i check puremango for new comments
i check recent and maybe play about for a while
and that's it.
and i wonder, am i really getting all i could out of the net?

stumbleupon... yeah.. i tried it for a while, but.. well.. one thing that bugged me was that i found it really hard to retrieve a link i'd stumbled upon; "stumbleupon makes things so easy - no longer do you have to remember cumbersome URLs... instead, you just have to remember exactly which day it was in the last 6 months you saw that link, or alternatively, trawl through your entire history until you find it - if you thumbs-upped it, that is, otherwise the list is 6 times bigger"..
i started del.icio.us-ing the thumbs up links, but then that got too complicated ("what? I've got to click TWO things? no way, man.)
