poet so
go ahead and put your thumbs up in your eyes
it doesnt matter

i had a dream the other night
it wasnt meaningful

correlate
the seams and imperfections
to gain a sense of (the) whole

this great escape parades
around in circles in our brains

and something in me knows
its never going to be the same

impalpable perception of
what it is to be real
imposed upon an apparition
and let to run amongst the flames

as they frolic into the void
no small mind cries out
as manifest winds down
the trickster measures and weighs the crown

poet we eastern seaboard now watch the skies
while the raindrops may not come tonight
the train ride lasts a lifetime and
we're never coming home

tried to drift around your mind
and the only thing i could seem to find
was another blinding reason (why)
and i stop to fall into the sky

these poor defeated souls patrol the skies tonight
though the rain won't fall in this lifetime
the train ride is eternity
and we've never had a home

i wondered oh with all my might
if my victory could be so slight
would not my meaning be defined
by a prescence growing in my mind

our endless coastlines all observe the stars tonight
when the floods arrive to cease our lives
a station sinks into the sea
and we'll never come back home

I admit, i worried in good time
but the elegy had spoken kind
and to all the world i spoke aloud
as i drifted up into the clouds:

what is this new place i have found?

juxtaposition
whats your position?
juxtaposition
adjust your position!
just a pose itchin-
secreted realist on a tangible mission
look at me.
all of it glistens
look at me.
take a good listen
WILL not or CAN not
look AT me look AT me
look what i have written

uretheral non-melodies
dissonant consonance
longingly cognisant

con-stan-ti-no-ple falls
cogni-tive retreat

misconstrue/repeat
youve got dog shit on your face
misconstrue/repeat
goin all round all over the place
misconstrue/repeat
now is the marked isle defiled by man
misconstrue/repeat
the collective necessitates no backup plan
misconstrue/repeat

Plan B is and will never be enough
We strive blindly towards our goals
Choose one of the endless permutations
All of which fall short of our dreams

The only conclusion to draw is this:
Our sum total is inconsequential
Our sum total is inconsequential
Our sum total is inconsequential

cons-eq-uen-tial-ly!

We are the strangest piles of matter to congeal within our spectrum
our matriarch, chaos
our partriarch, the infinite
we are but a single water droplet in a raging hurricane
unable to alter our fate
powerless to influence the course of our travels
a flickering flame, mortal
supremely insignificant
and inevitably finite

None of the options listed are applicable! None of the options listed are applicable!

- You may choose one of the options listed above, or you may choose nothing at all!

And if I choose nothing?

- Then nothing shall be your worth! Go find another plane if this one does not satisfy!

I want the option that does not exist! My journey will bring me to lands forgotten;
now uncharted but not yet abandoned.

- I am... omnipotent, infinite and infallible. My will carries onwards.

Only until the day you realize you never were.
The weight of the masses has begun to wear at the complacency which your chosen existance provides.
Now it is too late; we all slowly dig our ditch and when it is deep enough, in it we will drown.

- Impossible for me to be so oblivious. My will carries onwards.

Then I shall seek shelter, and hope that our finest attributes perservere.
We cannot escape natural selection, we took charge of our own evolution and now we will see the

consequences...
We are leeching the world of our own newfound intelligence, and soon the planet will outwit us and return us

to whence we came.
Our descendants will have little or no need for many of the genetic traits that got us this far, and THEIR

descendants will be forever emancipated from nature.
The most abundant genes will be propagated, dominant traits will no longer have any evolutionary basis...
"Survival of the fittest" becomes "survival of the most prolific breeders", and thus many negative traits

that might otherwise be weeded out through natural selection no longer have a mechanism to do so. The future of our species is uncertain at best when unfavorable genes have no priority over favorable ones.

So ask yourself this, what is the most common human trait?

thieums I'm going around, and around, and around you
Spinning so fast that my head is dizzy
You irradiate, irradiate, irradiate me
If you were a black hole, I'd fall in love into you
