Today I was presented with a problem that I have yet to resolve. One of the persons for whom I care most has a problem for which I’m unable to help; to go through life living in a starless night with no sign of morning ever coming. I wish I could be the sun, my glowing rays bombarding their darkened spirit and nurturing their gentle hearts with a simple caress. Alas, the inverse is true. My inability to help pulls me into their night, a night that isn’t as easy to rise from as I had hoped. My objective trivialized by my inability. This isn’t my hell, this is theirs. I pray my deviation into the night will bring us both to the eastern horizon. Love ya bunches. |
