meaning I heard it the first time in "The Wall" finding that album on vinyl, original cover was a great experience for me I learned and related Rock and Roll is often lame but sometimes, it's wonderful art The Wall is cliche, overdone but it's still art So I had that wonderful experience sitting alone in the middle of the night headphones I must have been about 15 I even painted in the bricks in my basement bedroom to look like the original cover art But now I know that she would have taken it away If she had known that I was using her stupid stereo to have this experience It wouldn't matter how much it changed me or effected me or taught me It would only matter that I was touching her stupid stereo |
