I ran into this girl from highschool on the bus today
who I hadn't seen since a year ago, when I saw her on the same bus, going somewhere different. She said something like "Wow, I haven't seen you in FOREVER, how are you? (blah blah blah)"
And I thought... has it been forever? I thought it was just yesterday, or practically. I remember what we talked about and where I was going, and what you said, and where your boyfriend was going (and that he was from France and going to Rennie) and that you asked about my friend and said you saw her brother a bunch), the last time I saw you, so it can't have been that long ago. I mean, it was mundane enough...
I guess a year is shorter than I thought...
