really, it's not so hard. this goes especially for big things, but even say it for little things. for things that it's obvious or implied you are grateful for. things that you could have done yourself but someone did for you anyway. say it even if it's your bestest friend, and you know they know you appreciate it, and they know you know they know. say "thanks" anyway. and say it like you mean it. don't mumble, and don't say it in a sarcastic tone. I fucking hate that. and "cool" isn't "thanks", either. heck, you could even bust into a full on "thank you", with detail. "thank you for picking up that used condom - I was going to do it, but I kept forgetting" nothing wrong with a little courtesy. I wonder why this is so hard for some people? |
